Teen model who became a millionaire at 10 says her life isn’t what you imagine

A teenager who said she became a millionaire at the age of 10 has revealed what her reality is like now – and it’s not what you think.

Isabella Barrett, now 17, was thrust into the spotlight at the age of five when her parents introduced her to the show. Little ones and tiaras.

Teenage millionaire

After that, she competed in beauty pageants across the US and modeled as a teenager for brands like Toys ‘R’ Us and Bergdorf Goodman.

At just nine years old, Isabella launched a jewelry brand, Glitzy Girl, which turned her into one of America’s youngest millionaires.

Now approaching 18, she has capitalized on this success by launching her own clothing line and continuing her work as a model.

“What I love about being a millionaire is that I’m able to get up and travel anywhere in the world I want – and [the] friends I can meet,” said the teenager, who recently bought a Lamborghini sun.

She added that “it has opened many opportunities for me”.

The price of fame

But Isabella said that her life is not as wonderful as it may seem from the outside.

After she started dating famous YouTuber Gavin Magnus, who has over seven million followers, she said her online profile soared.

And with that high visibility comes greater scrutiny, she says.

“Keeping things private when you’re constantly in the spotlight is tricky,” she said The US Sun.

“Relationships with the public like that of Justin and Selena or the Kardashians can be complicated.

“You have to navigate everyone who has an opinion about your personal life.”

“But being with Gavin means having someone who truly understands the pressures, challenges and everything else that comes with living life under intense public scrutiny.”

She says some of those struggles include not being able to make and keep friends who aren’t constantly jealous of her and having a mom who puts extra pressure on her to make her relationship work.
